Modular entrance matting system

Coral obex is an exceptionally versatile modular entrance matting system. It can be used on its own and in conjunction with our Coral textile ranges to provide an integrated entrance system.

The flexible system can be used in all types of buildings and, because Coral obex contains no metal components, it is particularly suitable for installation in retail environments as it does not interfere with electronic tagging systems.

Coral obex prior

Coral obex prior is ideal for use in the exposed area immediately outside the doorway. It is available in two different formats.

Open
Recommended for use where a particularly high level of soiling is anticipated, the open structure offers a high capacity for soil storage as dirt falls through to be collected in the matwell. Tiles are lifted during cleaning so soil can be removed.

Closed
Recommended for use where regular level of soiling is anticipated. Tiles remain in situ for cleaning as the soil is collected within the mat.

Depths
11mm tiles - Designed for use in matwells with a depth of 12mm
16mm tiles - Designed for use in matwells with a depth of 17mm

Coral obex forma

Coral obex forma is designed for use just inside the entrance to absorb moisture and remove finer particles of soil. Available in both open and closed structures in 11mm and 16mm depths, forma is offered in five specially created colourways designed to complement the Coral brush activ, Coral classic and Coral luxe ranges.

Aluminium Edging Ramp
Screwed down edging ramp for use with surface mounted Coral obex tiles used in heavy traffic areas. 

PVC Edging Ramp
Clip-on edging system for use with surface mounted Coral obex tiles used in medium traffic areas. 

Fixing Studs
Fixing studs, for use with 16mm open tiles, help to stabilise the mat.
