“I joined Forbo in 1984 at one of the production departments in the linoleum factory in Assendelft, The Netherlands. As General Operator I am responsible for making sure that the production is running properly including the administration.
Craftsmanship plays an important role in the production process, and you have to learn this in practice. It is an interesting challenge to work with the natural raw materials and influence the production process in a way that a top product is produced that meets all specifications as by nature the specifications of the natural raw materials can vary within limitations.”
