Forbo Flooring Systems, Europe’s leading manufacturer of resilient floor coverings, is launching its reinvigorated Project Vinyl collection for 2008. Forbo’s design studio has incorporated a rich and diverse mix into the development of the new Heterogeneous Project Vinyl collection, to deliver a relevant and contemporary range of vinyl floorcoverings that will enhance Forbo’s already extensive portfolio which extends to linoleum, slip resistant, design tile and acoustic floorcoverings.
Comprising three distinct product ranges, 10 decorative effects and 114 colourways: Eternal; Effect and Smaragd, the new Project Vinyl collection is able to significantly contribute to design concepts for a wide range of commercial interiors.

Effect
New for 2008, the Effect range signals a breaththough in the design of resilient floor coverings, incorporating innovative and original designs that breath new life into the commercial flooring sector.
Effect Linea challenges perceptions by delivering designs that combine six metallic, luminous colours with a new linear structure to generate the appearance of a textile finish. Ideal for stylish office and retail interiors, this cutting edge design makes it possible to recreate a carpeted effect, whilst retaining all the benefits of a resilient floorcovering.
Also within the range, Effect Volta utilises a rich colour pallette highlighted with flecks of shimmering gold and silver to offer an original and distinctive range of floorcoverings with universal appeal. The 20 designs are able to fulfill the demand of a wide range of sectors and will hold particular appeal for retail and hospitality sectors where image is so crucial.
Finally, Effect Contrast is a graphic, eye-catching range containing patterns that take a new twist on classic monochrome shades, ideal used in combination with other contemporary finishes such as stainless steel and glass to produce a striking feature area. The perfect touch for a distinctive and modern interior.

Eternal
The Eternal collection comprises four distinct ranges inspired by nature, offering superior authenticity in wood, stone and natural effects whilst delivering exceptional performance. Eternal perfectly captures the trend for aesthetic, non-institutional interiors, offering a softer and warmer finish.
