Forbo are delighted to invite teachers and students to take part in a unique competition and win 60m2 of Marmoleum Flooring in a design of your choosing.
Not only is Marmoleum the perfect flooring choice for schools, offering you

also the right choice for the environment. And why?

OK, here's the science:
Marmoleum is a natural product made from 97% natural raw materials with 70%
of those materials renewable and 40% recycled content. A big part of that 97% natural product is linseed oil, which is obtained by pressing the seeds of the Flax plant. Oxidizing the oil creates a thick, spongy mass which forms the basis for Marmoleum. Marmoleum is a wholly natural and sustainable product and complies with more environmental quality marks than any other flooring product in the world.

We'll be sending schools throughout the country packets of Flax seeds and asking
students to plant, care for, and photograph the results of their tender loving care.

The largest, most beautiful and healthy array of Flax flowers, as adjudicated by
our gardening experts, will win a Marmaoleum floor for their school.

Best to sow in early March and seeds should be planted close together and
covered with about 1 inch (2.5 cms) of soil and watered every day.

You can expect the flowers to be in bloom by early May. The Flax plant produces a very pretty blue blossom.

To Enter you have to register first to receive a unique registration number. You will need your email address and unique number to submit your entry.

Sending in your Entry

You can either send in your entry by email or by post.
Once you've grown your plants and photographed the results send your prints by email or by post.
All entries must be accompanied by the appropriate registration number only, entries with Personal ID marks will not be accepted.

By Email:
Click on the link and follow the instructions. Designs should be in a Jpeg format not bigger than 3mb.

By Post:
Enties must be no larger than A3 mounted on light card. Entries should be delivered to Forbo Flooring Ltd, Unit 2 Deansgrange Business Park, Deansgrange, Co Dublin. and addressed to Forbo School Competition.
The promoters have no responsibility for items lost, stolen or delayed in the post. Entries will not be returned and will become the property of the sponsors.
